So, for some reason, I've not had much to write about lately. I've been busy with social calendar (we have something every Saturday through Feb 21st or 28th depending on when Carol wants to have her Wii birthday party. Dinner, birthdays, Wii dinner/game nights with friends and tonight we are headed out to the Fernbank Planetarium for the nightly show. I'm excited as I've never been to a Planetarium before and have always wanted to go. I'm stoked! I can't access the website today for some reason but the link is here: Fernbank Science Center.
So, until I have more to write, I'm going to continue posting videos for your enjoyment.
Peace!

Hard Candy Christmas - Keith and Mindy at our Christmas party 2008 (my goofy ass comes lolling through on my way to go out back and have a smoke.)
And then there's this lovely tidbit on racism:
And although I didn't get a lot of photos of the gathering itself, I did get a few, thanks to Keith, He started taking a few when we should have been. Sometimes I just rather enjoy the moment rather than taking photos of the moment.
running as best I can (it's used, but it will do for what he needs, for now.)
And then, there's Penny! She opened her gift this morning. She was so excited!
She's such a cute pup when she's excited.
New Year is next and we have no clue what we are doing! We can't decide if we want to go out, stay in and cook lobster and steak or pasta, or if we want to go the Buffalo's celebration. We may make the rounds in town. Seabone's to see Frank and Mary Margaret and Chris and the gang, then to Buffalo's for bringing in the new year.
For now, Be well, enjoy your weekend and we are headed out to grab a few things as the store: A game for Wii for my friend's Dale and Richard (we are heading over tomorrow afternoon for an evening of Wii. However, I hope I don't get Wii-itis! I'll make sure to stretch first. I want to play Wii with my butt like they do in the commercial! That looks fun!)
Then we are heading to grab some data CD's and other things before we head to dinner with our friends Ron and Mario (who hosted my birthday party this past June - thank you, fellas!) and off to Burkhart's afterwards for cocktails and fun!
Peace and Big Hugs!

The living room make over has been finsihed (for the most part). Aside from the bamboo roman shades and the console that we still need, and the two chairs we want (we bought fillers for the time being until we find exactly what we want) the room is redecorated and spruced up for the holidays. Much to Keith's happiness, also. I don't think we've seen the sofa uncovered for a month or more and all the furniture has been placed around the house and we've been walking the pig trails from room to room.
The tree, and the popcorn we strung, is up, and aside from the mysterious missing foot long length of popcorn, which I found the other day, a foot or so of bare thread, just about Penny height on the back the tree. Yes, I walked into the room one day and she was creeping ever so slightly along the front wall (where the tree is) with tail tucked, eyes all puppy doggy, head down a bit, lickin' chops. I didn't think she got any, but lo and behold, the tell tale sign of bare thread gave her away the day after. (I wish I had a photo of her knowing she was a bad girl. It's too damned cute and I can't stay mad at her for more than a few seconds. But I do have to punish her at the moment and I did, even thought I didn't know she actually managed to get to the popcorn. It is her favorite treat! Who can blame her, right?
Anyway. The party is set for tonight at 7. There's a bit more to do around the house and I'll hopefully post more photos of the guests. I didn't get the kitchen painted as I wanted, due to funds being shot this month on other things. And this party is costing us a pretty penny. Good food and wine is not cheap, let me tell. We checked out at Sam's tonight to the tune of $500. So far - we're at $600 just on the party. There goes my console! LOL But we've wanted a nice gathering for our friends and we've been here for almost a year and it's time to share with our extended family, our new home. Of course, it's slow going, but for the most part, we're in, not totally made over, but close. The bathroom is still heinous, but that's last on the list. The study, still has to be painted and the new furniture purchased for it. (I so want to find an upright piano, simple lines, to tile in red glass tile for Keith! (I'm so feeling the Liberache on this one!) The study though will be bone walls, black trim, satin, and the desk, apple green, mercury glass lamps, two modern chairs on each side of the desk (extended from one all), two more chairs and bookshelves on the outside wall and the red tiled piano on the inside wall. I can't wait to tackle this room for sure!!! Next party, our birthdays with finished rooms hopefully!
